1. Information collected today
Public fans can stream published music without creating an account. If you choose to create a fan account, KRASH'D+ collects your email address, an optional display name, password credentials stored in protected form, account/session records, artist follows and preferences, and your optional email-marketing preference. Information submitted through Contact / Support may include your name, email address, category, subject, and message.
2. Fan, creator, and administrator accounts
Fan accounts can sync saved tracks, playlists, artist follows, and personalization choices across devices. Private Studio accounts use account information such as display name, email address, protected password credentials, session information, and login/security records needed to operate creator access.
3. Listening, acquisition, and technical analytics
KRASH'D+ records usage events needed to understand how the music service is used, including site visits, play starts, whether a track reaches the 30-second stream threshold, completion events, recent playback heartbeats, library saves, playlist additions, song and app shares, visits from shared links, browser-session identifiers, approximate device type, referring page, campaign parameters such as source, medium and campaign name, referral codes, and event timestamps. If a listener creates an account, the acquisition session and campaign or referral information associated with that signup may be stored with the fan profile so KRASH'D+ can measure conversion and retention. Public-listener analytics are not designed to identify an anonymous listener by name.
4. How information is used
- Operate, maintain, and secure KRASH'D+.
- Create and authenticate fan and Studio accounts.
- Sync a registered fan’s saved tracks, playlists, artist follows, and preferences across devices.
- Personalize the fan experience based on followed artists, saved music, and listening activity.
- Measure streams, active listening, catalog performance, acquisition sources, campaign conversion, retention, saves, and playlist engagement.
- Send release and artist marketing emails only when a fan separately opts in.
- Respond to support, privacy, copyright, and DMCA inquiries.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect rights and service integrity.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. Fan accounts and marketing choices
KRASH'D+ does not require a fan account or phone number to stream. A fan account is required to save songs, use Your Library, create playlists, add songs to playlists, or persist artist-follow preferences. Registered fans can sync those features across supported devices. Email marketing is optional and is recorded separately from account creation; creating an account alone does not constitute consent to receive promotional email. Usage analytics may still measure public streaming and campaign activity, while account-based listening and engagement may be used to measure retention and personalize the service.
6. Sharing
Personal information is not sold to advertisers. Information may be handled by service providers that host or operate KRASH'D+, and may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, artists, or rights holders.
7. Retention
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, operational security, dispute resolution, rights enforcement, or legal requirements. Contact submissions may be retained as business and rights-management records.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your requests
You may request access or correction of personal information where applicable by using the Contact / Support page and choosing “Privacy.” Registered fans can permanently delete their account from Account Settings. A public explanation of the deletion process is available at Delete Account.
10. Children
KRASH'D+ is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has submitted personal information improperly, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
11. Changes
This policy may be updated as KRASH'D+ adds personalization, notifications, subscriptions, phone/SMS features, or other services. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
